Mallorca offers a kaleidoscope of colour from the red of the sunrise, to the orange of the sunset, the indigo of dawn to the violet of dusk. The sea covers every variant of blue and the sky reflects this back. As the sun sets there really is no other light like this in the Mediterranean.

The landscape varies from the savage northern mountains of the Tramuntana, to the fine pale sands of the secluded coves and beaches. The terraces of olive trees give way to the agricultural farmland of the central plain, ebullient with artichokes, strawberries and wild asparagus.

A tapestry woven by the complicated history of the island is seen in the ancient and contemporary, monasteries like the one at Lluc, churches such as the ancient village church of Pollensa, and architecture reflected in the modernisme of Palma. The old and modern have developed side by side to create a matchless mixture only to be found here.

Fabulous fiestas, processions of history strolling by and gastronomic delights ensure the senses are inspired.
